It's fun to use, but it's pretty boring visually so I don't really consider it. I saw this one fan rendition/redesign of it being half underground like a Diglett that made me like it a little more.

I wish that the hood made of sand was made of its own shed skin, and wasn't permanently glued to its body even to the point of obscuring half its vision. I enjoy the uniqueness but I'd like it way more if it had the option of taking the sand ring off sometimes.

I had been asking for a Ground Type desert/sand snake of some sort for years but the one we finally got's a bit shaky for me.

Yeah but on the other hand, I kinda think all weather-setting abilities should be like that. They shouldn't start weather on switch, it should be 1 turn after they enter the feild.

It isn't though. If the opponent switches or uses status you're not getting sand. They can even phase you out before you can set it. It's just worse.

I still could swear these 2 must be based on something OTHER than just desert snakes, something no one's figured out yet. Cobras are common in the Middle East and Egypt area, and both of these guys seem like they're designed to have an Arab aesthetic or. . . something.

Sandaconda looks like it's maybe wearing a turban? Silicobra looks to be fashioned after SOME KIND of Middle Eastern headwear, I'm just really ignorant of that part of the world's culture and have no idea what they're meant to be.

I feel like the fact Silicorbra looks like it's crying might be a nod to something, again idk what.

You coil up until they attack or kill them in the process with quake or stone edge. You can also status them with Glare or set stones. Sandstream is active weather setting while Sandspit is passive weather setting. Each one of them has their perks anon.

not trying to be mean, but do you by any chance have autism? It's fine to leave some things up to interpretation. Not to mention, Sandaconda is pretty clearly based on a fire hose. From the Sword Dex Entry: "When it contracts its body, over 220 pounds of sand sprays from its nose". It looks like a hose that shoots sand instead of water.
