>>45109709>Recycle the same plot over and overA fair point, but I think part the appeal of Explorers in particular is how seriously the plot is taken for a children's game, not that that's an excuse for subpar writing, but still. At first, it's just a cute story about a bunch of mons who want to go on glorified camping trips to chart out the world, but the story eventually gets somewhat darker than the mainline series ever did, which again, does not necessarily mean better, but I certainly think the writers were put on a bit less of a leash compared to the pre-gen V mainline series.
