>>45110694Played since Platinum up until ORAS. Platinum has been my childhood because I played that game so many goddamn times everywhere and anywhere on my DSi.
I will never forget how I learned to actually create my own unique team instead of copy-pasting Super Skarmory's even though most of the single-player teams I created were normie shit. Every single route, city, and dungeon I can navigate off the top of my head and their respective themes have been ingrained into my head. So many of the most memorable moments of my childhood I can recall just by thinking back to significant parts of the game's story (i.e catching Giratina and fighting Team Galactic). I even remember trying a couple less-used Pokemon here and there like Gyarados, Crobat, Rampardos, Honchcrow, Medicham, Mr. Mime, Tentacruel, Abomasnow, and even Golem just to experiment.
And the OST of Gen 4? To me it's the literal musical incarnate of SOUL. I remember just chilling out in bed listening to either Canalave or the Pokemon Center music at night just because of how cozy they were.

I will always love this game from the bottom of my heart despite its issues.
If there was any place I wanna go to after I die here on Earth, I wanna go to Sinnoh.
