>>45114204I thought it was pretty interesting how they did all of the rich nobility in the region who had all of this fancy shit in comparison to the normal folks, in parallel with Team Flare being this organization that you had to pay an obscene amount of money to join and they were going to destroy all life except for their secret club.
That whole plot still feels incredibly weird with Xerneas and Yveltal though, they were just completely separate from the war altogether and just another tool to get what Flare wanted, even though they wouldn't have needed them at all. Plus the fact that no one knows where they were living before Flare captured them.
XY really feels like some weird kind of abstract art that GF did as a political statement, and then took a bow and moved on with ORAS and SM.
