>>45113667In the 1964 novel "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Roald Dahl, five children are permitted to visit a famous chocolate factory owned by one Willy Wonka. All of these children, with the exception of the titular character Charlie Bucket, are quite awful children. Rude, selfish, greedy, etc. Throughout the novel, they do things they are specifically told not to do and are thus subjected to cruel and unusual punishment by their own hands. One such child is Violet, who, after chewing an experimental piece of gum, swells up into what appears to be a giant blueberry. This process of turning into a blueberry, for whatever reason, has become a fetish, thanks largely to the film adaptation released in 1971 and its remake in 2005.
