Giratina is more fitting as a Dark type and Darkrai is more fitting as a Ghost type

I’m convinced the only reason it’s not Dark/Ghost is because a 600 BST mythical with no weaknesses and one of the best sleep moves was too overpowered for Gamefreak.

Giratina is the dragon that created anti-matter.
He representing a state of matter does not make much sense, especially when matter was created by Dialga and Palkia.

Dialga isn't Steel because diamonds, otherwise why would Diancie be Rock. Dialga is Steel because it most closely of all the types represents solid, and Dialga represents solid in the trio solid - liquid - gas.

Both are good types for a Dragon pokemon to have, and Dragon/Psychic was already taken by Lati@s and is trash anyways.
Giratina MIGHT have a bit of extra thought but into it, being weak to both of its own types, but realistically just follows the same logic of "this typing isn't ass".
That's literally it.
