>>45121869Is swsh over? Yes. Is this shitfest of a gen over? Probably not. We currently have 4 possible outcomes for next year:
>Sinnoh remakes>Let's Go Johto>Master collection (ports)>Gen 9We can rule out nothing, as it's the 25th anniversary next year, and they'll want to exploit it the best they can.
Considering that gen 6 clearly had a release they skipped to release a new gen for the 20th anniversary, we can't rule that out, though it's very unlikely. I personally don't want gen 9 just yet, because if GF can use 3 whole years and churn out swsh, I dread to think what they'll put out after 2.
Sinnoh remakes and Let's Go Johto would be the expectation here. Sinnoh remakes because it would be the right time to release them, as it is 2 console generations on from the DS era, it will be 15 years since DP's initial release, and some of the remaining missing pokemon (starters and Sinnoh fossils) would make sense to be available in a Sinnoh remake.
Let's Go would make sense as a gap filler of sorts, as we will have all of the legendary pokemon after CT drops, just like with USUM.
