An insta-KO button.
Just press it, and the opponent's mon that's currently out gets KO'd.
Each player can use it once per battle, and it comes right after switching in the priority bracket.
In a double battle, the enemy mon that gets KO'd is random, so shills can claim it's balanced in doubles because you can't decide which mon dies.

Only fusions come to mind. But really they probably will start rotating gimmicks out. The XY generation is already growing up and they miss megas, in a couple years it'll be the perfect time to shit out a new game for them to buy. Rotating things people care about has always been GF's MO.

Premier Abilities
One Pokemon per battle can activate its Premier Ability and have it in addition to its regular Ability.

Premier Abilities are shit like perma weather, 100% crit chance, double defense, etc.
