Why do you keep pretending that raids have some sort of complex strategy you could use to have more fun if it's a mechanic based on scripted shields? There's nothing wrong in people that want to use those pokémon because you will end to skip just on turn or things like that. You cannot just do more damage. They made this mechanic shit, so the best way to get through is to use the best asset you have.

I didn't say that. I said that it's better than what we got in the dlc.
Because you don't have the choice to skip the first games and then play the better one.
Because the issues of the OG game will never be fixed by a third version
Because back then buying both version only costed 80$, now buying the shitty version + 2 bad dlcs will cost 90$

A big appeal of the games is using the mons you've caught and raised to do things. If they're really worried about people cheesing raids then they should just restrict mons like Zacian. I'm sure there'd still be some OP mons (Dracovish, G-Darm) but this solution wouldn't shit on the franchise's main appeal.

No, the new legends, exploring the CT, and "finding the mystery of Calyrex" are the main draws. Every legend coming back is a footnote that's customary for what this is replacing-Third Versions.
