I caught a Cubone in the Pokemon tower.
It had a Thick Club.
I used to believe all Cubone came with one.
I was shocked when I found out Thick Club was 5% chance, and Cubone was like 15% chance in the midst of Ghastly.

Yeah, it's a very solid pokemon. I prefer cubone's style of skull helmet over marowak's. The distinction between bone and fur really makes a difference in the design.

I can see and understand that. I've viewed it as more mammalian. Tool use and weeping over a dead mother--so familial bonds--suggests warm blooded and some kind of furred hide to me.

Yeah, if I’m gunna use a cubone I always get a compoundeyes pokemon. Thankfully in fire red and leaf green you get thief tm well before Pokémon tower and it’s trivial to get a butterfree that can thief items.
