In all seriousness though: that sucks, anon. Weed does the exact opposite for me, it genuinely helps my anxiety & stops my panic-attacks dead in their tracks.
How much do you smoke when you do? Like a hit or two? An entire bowl? Dabs?
Your tolerance might be super low & you may be higher than you think, causing you to panic.
Try microdosing--either smoke until you feel it (which may or may not help, since "creeper weed" is a thing [the high doesn't kick in 'til later, which REALLY lays you on your ass if you smoked a shit-ton because "lol dude I don't feel anything yet"]), or just take one or two hits & call it a day.
If that doesn't change anything, then maybe weed just isn't for you (& I genuinely hate telling people that because I'm all for weed & the things it can do for people).
You say it's always a good time when you smoke with friends--maybe you're just a social smoker & being alone when high increases your paranoia. If that's the case, then either only smoke with friends, or try getting stoned by yourself in an environment you feel COMPLETELY comfortable & safe in.
In the end, it's all up to you. Is the high worth having a panic-attack over?
Also, if your friends are chill, it might not hurt to explain this to them. "I enjoy smoking with you & it's always a good time, but it really fucks with me afterwards".
No, I'm not gonna be all "lol you just haven't found the right strain bruh". Weed sometimes just isn't for everyone.
