Not sure why they had to make it a point of his character, since he's otherwise characterized as a private person who doesn't really want to stand at the center of attention. I would have understood that "fangirl swarm" more if applied to Wallace, since he's always depicted as surrounded by women-which is ironic on its own since we all seem to get the impression that he's gay
