Honestly, this is how it's going to be from now on, GF have the system, GO has the normies who are focused on the pokémon, Masters has the waifufags, they're obviously trying to get the moba heads in with Unite. It's a pity it won't appear on PC, we could have Battle Royals in arena fighters, if they'd wanted.
Pokémon, as made by Game Freak is always going to be what it was, because they can use the spin--offs to fuck around in other genres and with other aspects.
