I do! and I love sword and shield. Im pumped for crown tundra in the next few days. Gonna take the day off from work and eat a bunch of junk food and play nonstop. I kinda do this every time a new game/dlc drops; its me time for my mental health

Stop thinking that someone can't like something because they criticize it. In fact it could be argued that they criticize it BECAUSE they like it. Whether or not you think those criticisms are valid is a different discussion but to dismiss people outright simply for criticizing something as not liking it is simply arrogance to shut down a conversation instead of engaging. Now this is not to say all people who criticize Pokémon here like it and that everyone who likes it must criticize it but rather that it is better to engage and determine the reason for their criticism than to simply dismiss it.

We're currently in the midst of a huge content drought when it comes to Pokemon content from both an official and fanmade point of view.
The only upcoming things that don't seem like a distant future thing is a fucking DLC for one of the most controversial Pokemon games to have ever been released and gachashit.
There's been Radical Red and a Crystal Clear update for fangames but both of them are just fucking fanfic bullshit.
The metagame is fucking cancerous no matter what tier you play and will only get more cancerous once every legendary Pokemon returns.
So, people can only really resort to two things: coomer posting and gen war baiting. Threads with any sort of quality fanmade content have been scared off because of the state of this fucking subreddit.
