Is Victor's customization really that terrible? Elio default was terrible but even with limited customization you could vastly improve him.

It's mainly a matter of scope. Male character avatars always get vastly fewer customization options than female avatars. Of course, it also doesn't help that instead of keeping various options from previous games while also adding more going forward, they just completely replace them with a similar (small) number of options. Hair styles especially suffer from this majorly, with the ones available to male player characters being much fewer in number and variety than those available to the female pc's.

First time I didn't pick the boy in either game. Gloria just has more customization so they look completely different.

Victor is also kinda painfully generic. Caleb was too, but there was more to him I think, dunno why.

Victor and Gloria's outfits were for style. Clearly Gloria should've been wearing some kind of leggings at the start of the game too.

I think the game also had Hop point out your giant, ugly backpack so that you'd feel motivated to give the clothing stores a try.

Here's a list of outfits I'd like for GF to add:

- School uniforms
- Black Belt uniforms
- outfits of previous protagonists

I also wanted a new champion uniform and to be able to dress like villainous teams. Those seem to be coming in CT already at least to some extent.

Alright, the one time I did customize was with Elio in USUM. I gave him his SM outfit back because it looks better. I'd never do anything unofficial, though.
I sucked it up for Victor, even if I don't particularly like his design.

Funnily enough when I played USUM I did the same thing with Selene. Mostly because I liked her iconic chicken hat, hated USUM's puffy shorts they had her wearing, and thought the braids and new hat make her look like a hick.
