I liked using it's ability with the alt form in gen 6 to screw with opponents and win games off of it, but damn was it hard to use.

It's EXACTLY what happens with pokemon creation
The red shoes is either a literal fanfic addendum made by a different person than the creator of Meloetta, or was only meant to be a legend and nothing more

Absolute cutie and fun to use in battle. Its a shame you can't have her swap forms before the battle though. Its a neat concept but locking it to one specific move and she reverts back when she switches hurts.

Legitimately one of the few reasons I want a sound/sonic type

Meloetta's somewhat unique and interesting conceptually for a mythical but mediocre in game because at its base it's just a normal type with serene grace and the relic song gimmick basically just makes it into a different normal type with serene grace that doesn't have anything stand-out about it either considering they have to share a movepool and Meloetta-P was introduced in the same gen as 4 other strong and speedy fighting types

I think she would be more popular if she were easier to obtain. Mythical pokemon get fucked over by only being obtainable from event hand outs and being looked out of post game features like PWT and the like. Doesn't help either as there isn't much one can do with them except fight the elite 4 over and over again as they usually come at either level 50 or 100.
