You literally get Firium Z like half an hour before the trail. Also with Exp Share on you’re probably overleveled as shit anyway. Just because you put self imposed challenges on yourself doesnt mean kids will.

This. In both gen's 7 and 8 they make you fight Grass Water and Fire in the advantageous order.
In alola the Akala trials did

In Galar the first 3 gyms were

This shit is absolute fucking babby mode. They are literally warm-up gyms. You were given a mon that has a type advantage to at least on of them and most overlevel their starter. It's a cakewalk

The amount of handholding you have to ignore to make these games even remotely challenging is astounding, you basically have to LALALALALALA CAN'T EAR YOU at every mechanic
And even then assuming you're going to do that it probably means you're already an oldfag that knows how Pokemon plays from the back of your hand which means you won't have much problems anyway with the retarded NPC AI

Akala Island lets you do them out of order iirc. Someone could possibly go through Brooklet without entering the Lush Jungle. Same for Lush Jungle before Wela Volcano

No, I just checked, you can do Akala's trials out of order. You can go up Route 5 and through route 6 to get to Brooklet and Lush first and use Route 8 to loop around to Wela, or you could cut through Royal Avenue on Route 6 to get to route 7 and do Wela before using Route 8 to loop around. There's practically no story going on here anyways yet, so it makes sense
