This is just the same shit from the post game tournament except its multi battles. Why do people even see this as a big feature?

I'm excited to use the new legends and returning legendaries in VGC. I sat out series 6 and I can't wait to hop into this next one. My main hope is that the new Regis aren't garbage.

VGC is the only thing keeping me playing the games anymore. The main campaign is just ass and you can tell it's rushed because the pacing speeds up way too much and parts of the map are either underdeveloped or blatantly cut off from being accessed.

Finally seeing what the horses and fusions look like. I'm ready to be disappointed since gen 8's designs are overall pretty mediocre.
The Galarian birds look kinda cool, and Calyrex is oddly cute even if the long-ass legs and overgrown bulb kinda ruin it. I wonder if the bulb will bloom in the fused forms?

It looks and plays like it was ported from the 3DS and the Wild Area was hastily added last minute. Fortunately, the Isle of Armor was miles better than the Wild Area, so I think The Crown Tundra will at least be enjoyable.

Hopefully, they spend more time developing the next games. There’s no excuse for fucking LGPE to look and play better than the first Gen 8 entry.

Im sorry but i dont see that happening. One or two lines thrown casually before battle wont add much of a lore. If anything it would be better to do stuff like BW2 with the memory link or whatever it was called where you could watch several cutscenes adding new lore and dialogue,

Battle Tree from USUM was poors man PWT, This is even worse. Its just laziness

Yeah but thats still hardly worthy of being a separate feaure. It should be an extra mode in the already existing tournament. Not to mention its a feature that was a reguar thing in previous gens, then was missing in gen 8 and now they bring back this simple extra mode as a separate "big feature" which was nothing big in past games

Of course, in true GameFreak fashion.

If they were smart (they’re not), they would dedicate an additional year to development to prevent further disenfranchisement from core players. SwSh may have been profitable, but if fan outrage continues like it did for these games, it will eventually reflect in their sales.

I can't feel excited at swsh anymore, it's such a bland game I can't feel anything for it at this point.
At least with older games, like gen 4 , it's actually exciting to play, swsh is just awful and feels like trash the whole way through.
I doubt I'll even play CT at this point.

Entire sections of dialogue were already datamined. It doesn't add much with most lines being very generic. Sordward saying he'll use his hairdo as a weapon if you two end up in a tight spot is one of the highlights.

Outsourcing parts of it or putting more people on the dev team might help them accomplish more in the allotted time but of course Game Fucks won't do it since it cuts into the bottom line and even the shittiest game will go on to sell 16 million copies and counting.
