I'm back with a better version of Gold 97, if anyone's interested. Some pretty major changes here.
- Based on Gold version instead of Crystal, so it can be payed on an actual original Gameboy, and on a Super Gameboy, same as the demo was played at the actual Spaceworld event
- much better level/difficulty curve
- gym leader/elite 4 rematches
- additional postgame content
- Skateboard!
- additional moves and items brought over from the demo
And various other changes! This finally feels like the game I wanted to make the first time, now that it's actually able to be built on top of Gold version.
Also I have to give some credit to the Spaceworld Reforged team, who helped with some of the new additions, and are currently working on an updated full-color version that incorporates many of these new features as well as new sprite and artwork, so keep an eye out for that.
