It's shaped too awkwardly for me to really like it. I think at the end of the day I just prefer Mudkip's line, especially considering the Grass type selection in Hoenn

my favourite starters when i was a kid
i like to think they wouldnt look out of place as normal not-starter pokemon, which is my standard for if i like those designs

It's cool and I love it but its moveset does it a huge disservice. Using it in gen 3 is a pain in the ass because it's dead weight until it learns Leaf Blade.
