Basically, switch hacking uses an exploit in the hardware that forces the switch into a state where it can accept all sorts of instructions. If it has this flaw, then nothing Nintendo can do through software updates will ever stop you from hacking your switch. No soldering needed. Just follow the instructions here, it's very likely yours will work.
