We still haven't gotten a Dolphin Pokemon. We could have a Kiwi Bird. We could have some land-clam that's based on a Watermelon. There are tons of stuff they could just throw at the wall but they just don't.

Yes. It was a soft remake/reboot/parody which is why they did the whole not catching pokemon from other games in the main story thing. It was a light reimagining

I think the funniest part about this dex is how they started backpedaling on one of the gen’s selling points (over 150 new Pokemon) in the sequel games by making the Unova mons not be the only ones available to catch. They even made sure to slap a Riolu in one of the earlier routes lmao.

Still burns me. My mono typed playthroughs suffer from only using 5th gen pokemon in b/w. GF should've implemented 78 new pokemon in bw and the other 78 in b2w2 along old ones in both set of games.
