curious because i don't know much about comp, but what would make technician weavile such a big deal? is it just bite and ice shard? i see this requested frequently

Bite wouldn't see use even with Technician.
It'd just be a buff to Ice Shard and Fake-Out primarily, with maybe Beat Up becoming a legitimate meme strat.
That said I've always found the idea of technician Weavile kind of boring, especially since it doesn't really need a buff that badly. If you're going to give it a new ability, at least make it kind of thematic. Stakeout would be hilarious and would work well with Weavile's existing playstyle. It would almost make up for losing pursuit.

Technician would be a huge buff to triple axel, giving Weavile a 70% accuracy (99% with wide lens) 180 bp ice stab move, which would easily bring it up to ou.
