I don’t mind the mount form or even dual abilities, but the designs, man. It’s so difficult to accept.
Glastrier has no fucking face, which while I am high, doesn’t feel like it belongs in Pokémon. The idea behind it is cool, but it’s just badly done. If it resembled the monster hunter Kirin more I would be much happier.
Spectrier is more acceptable in terms of design, but I cannot look at this thing without, and even removed from the mlp community, because I have only learned what I know through hotdiggetydemon and random photos, thinking it looks straight out of mlp, not to mention it has the same gross hair look and color that Galar rapidash has.
I like the ghost hooves aesthetic, but truly this is a harbinger of the end: the new gen 9 mechanic is confirmed to be mounting/combining. They’re just testing the waters here. We TCG now.
