If they did do Let's Go Johto, I can't see them using Togepi or Marill. They're even bigger shitmons than Pikachu and Eevee, and they were barely usable even after the massive partner buffs they got. They're not even that popular despite having been shillmons for a bit, Togepi was only 21st on their official poll and Marill didn't get in the top 30 at all.
They'll probably just use Espeon and Umbreon.

Yeah, LGP was a comfy romp through Kanto. If it was between actual remakes and that, then actual remakes would have been several times better, but it was fun for what it was. I'd do it again.

why do people keep saying this crap? The main point for the game is make them push pokemon so they can sell merch. Why would they push pokemon that already sell tons of plushies? It's going to be a johto pokemon that's cute and works for customization so they can sell the same plushie with different accesories.

That's what I'm hoping. Better distro and all gen two 'mons in Johto. Megas, Alolan and Galarian forms but only for gen1 and gen2 'mons. Hopefully no Kanto. And for the NatDex to be all gen2 'mons and their respective families but only in gen1 and 2.
