I used a Tropius too. Yeah it is underwhelming but I like it. I just wish they had the sense to give it stats that made sense with it and not this nonsense. I also used Froslass and she handily beat Garchomp. I think you may need to level a bit more. Cynthia's Pokemon I believe has max IVs everywhere.

I beat her with an Octillery and a Lopunny on my team, you have no fucking excuse. The rest of my team wasn't great amazing either but they weren't shitmons.
You seriously just need to git gud.
Post movesets, if your movesets are comprised of mostly level up moves then that'd be your problem right there

I had Empleon, Gyarados, Dialga, Uxie, Azelf and Azumarill by the time I reached the elite four and I had no problems.
