The Good Things of thie Franchise

Without relying on nostalgia (Or sex-related things for you, coomers), what are the actual good things this franchise has to offer today?
Everything seems to be a chaos and, honestly, being a fan or consumer of this franchise does really not seem worth it any more. GF's and TPC decisions continue to baffle every day.
What is there to love today? Feel free to list it here. And remember: NO nostalgia allowed.

I like every Pokémon in some capacity. Music and world building has also been consistent.

Only hang onto the series nowadays to see what new Pokemon can do,abilities and moves and stuff. Pokemon battles will never get old for me, so there's that. Also yeah, the music keeps me coming back to these games, except I fucking hate the legendary battle themes in SwSh.

Probably bound to be disagreed with but I like a lot of the characters in SM/USUM and SWSH
SM/USUM characters are all really colorful and enjoyable and I really like Hop's progression with his character over the course of the game

I always find the world building lack, it never gets very deep with what it tries, and where it does go I find very boring.
There's stuff I think they can really do with the world though, with what little they have in the lore, but I don't think they're ever going to experiment with it.

Competitive play is enjoyable in short bursts and building a competitive team has never been more easier. The ranking system is a bit simple but it works.

I would be hard pressed to call "Penguin with ice on head whose ability is literally Mimikyu's" a good design

-And now so good adition as open world places with free camera control
-Wild pokemon in the overworld

-The only bad thing they have is that GF must add more extra and secondary misions and give more contento to each place as villages or cities, make them feel more Alive...

But Sw/Sh are opening some good Doors and paths for The future...

I Play pokemon since The 90s and this gen gaves me thing that I was waiting for more than 2 decades...

Yes and no. You can't see how Mimikyu actually is (you can literally die if you try it) and the purpose of its disguise is because it tries to be popular. On the other hand, you can see how ugly Eiscue face is, and it is just hiding it because it doesn't like itself.
