Can there be a civil discussion about what the best generation is? Personally I think it has to be either 3 or 5. 3 introduced a lot of features and I love hoenn but I have bias since emerald was my first game. 5 was the peak of pokemon story telling and had a fair level of difficulty at some points. Both had great music. I think gen 4 is just worse than gen 5 but not necessarily bad, but I can't see why someone would like gen 4 more than gen 5. Every other gen is just worse than those 3. I could MAYBE see someone arguing gen 6 because it was the beginning of the end of the quality of the games but that's a stretch.
