Here's the music for all the builds, converted from wem to wav using foobar. You'll have to piece the tracks together manually yourself, thanks wwise. Totals to 1GB.
I don't know too much about what's different between the 2018 builds, if there are any.

I'm repacking the roms with the patches by jason098 so you can easily install and run them on hardware and yuzu, without messing around. I'll post the repacked builds as I upload them, full folder, standalone patches and notes coming when I'm done.

If anyone figures out what might be wrong, I'd love to hear it.

Guys, the LTTP sources that leaked a few months ago have a ton of comments with 2002-2003 dates on them. Why would they be modifying the code during that time period? They wouldn't need to modify the original code for the gba port, plus that released in 2002.

There's so many mysteries in the previous leaks that we haven't been investigating.

now that the dust has settled for a while
the surprise in lgpe build was that lgpe was not even planned at all
swsh was codename beluga and development began on 3ds so it would be ready in late 2017/early 2018
alas, gf failed and beluga became lgpe while development moved onto project orion

pay close attention to the leaked builds dates, they were posted in the same order riley found them
first the march build which was current at the time, then the 2017 which was the oldest build riley could find from when the project split into what would become lgpe and finally the may build which was the last one before riley got caught

I've received complaints that it doesn't load on hardware, but it does on my, and some other's switches, here's the specs:

Perhaps a very early build of LGPE was gutted to form a basis for SwSh with some of the former's music leftover.

Alternatively, maybe it really was the other way around and this is a SwSh build very early in the process of being repurposed for starting development LGPE, with a few songs for the latter already in a "complete" state and consequently integrated into the prototype.

That's just a crackpot theory, anyway.

The reason I live with my parents is because:
1. They don't charge rent.

If you're running around in the field:

Wedgehurst Station takes you to the wild area
At the other side of the wild area is an entrance to Motostoke, and you can follow the normal loop around to Turffield and Hulbury

The Motostoke train station takes you to Hammerlocke (identical train stations)
Once outside the east exit goes to Circhester and the west exit to Stow-on-side and further to Ballonlea

Interesting, it seems to have baked-in lighting while the Switch version doesn't (naturally). I know somebody speculated that they didn't have a source texture in an earlier thread, but if they had made one for a clothing texture they'd never use again (if that's what we're seeing, or at least a different rendering of the same base texture) then why the fuck wouldn't they have one for the Pokemon? I have more questions than answers at this point.

Anyone knows, after you download the torrent, and you have yuzu running,

1. I have put the prod.keys in the %appdata%/yuzu/keys folder.
2. I have put the 32MB "main" file in the %appdata%/yuzu/load/[patched title ID]/ProtoPatch/exefs folder
3. Attempted to "install file to NAND", but the installation failed due to "checksum mismatch". I'm assuming this is because the NSP file is patched already.

So what's next?

Extract the RomFS from the NSP (install to yuzu nand and export romFS is how I do it. Please someone correct me with a better method.) This will take a while.

Use the tools here: https://github.com/KillzXGaming/Switch-Toolbox/releases and start poking around the dumped files in your Yuzu folder.

The Sword and Shield stuff is codename Orion. .gfbmdl files are the models.

Gloria's spats are her legs, there's nothing underneath.

There's actually 40 Pokémon in the 2017 build (Though some have multiple entries making it 63 total files in the folder). The folder was called bin/_orion_pokemon. the other 21 file was leftover LGPE stuff.

learn c before assembly. it'll help you a lot and assembly is a pain. for reversing i'd say just start with r2 or ghidra or whatever you'd like - ida is nice but i feel like it's pretty overhyped when there's other software out there with equal functionality (for reversing nintendo games anyways)

if you wanna actually learn programming i suggest you find a project you're interested in and use that as motivation. it's pretty difficult to stick to it at first but you'll make it if you try

Moving on to the March 2018 version the _orion_pokemon folder is no more and the contents of just bin/pokemon are readable in the Sword/Shield toolkit. At that point there are only 19 Pokemon (Charizard has a 2nd folder which would make it 20)

i already have a project in mind but that one is for whenever i'm actually good at this so i need to find a motivator to learn c. coding for old, limited hardware looks very fun to me; maybe i can give the old porting doom shtick a try as a beginner-ish project.
i've read a bit about ghidra and it seems pretty cool but dunno if it supports gba's architecture, maybe i need to look into a different solution for that

i believe in you. https://github.com/SiD3W4y/GhidraGBA here's a plugin to load gba roms into ghidra but ymmv. porting doom to new platforms is always fun and a good exercise, i'd give it a try once you learn a bit about programming

How much have you already learned in the past? Like >>45181692 said find a project you really care about to focus on, but keep in mind the big stuff isn't gonna happen until you go through the little stuff. For example, a good way to get used to functions is writing a small choose your own adventure story in a simple console window, and arrays are often taught by recreating common card games. If you're already a bit more advanced than that try a really simple dungeon crawler (text based or with simple 2d graphics depending on your skillset) that has a player with some basic stats fight randomly generated enemies until they die or give up or win an arbitrary number of fights to win the game. Build your way up to the big thing you want to do, one skill at a time with small projects and tutorials to help you understand and practice the concepts, and don't forget to keep using those skills so you don't end up 3 months down the line having to reteach yourself file i/o because you have done nothing but hard code everything after you finished your dedicated file i/o project and you no longer understand your old code or the comments you thought at the time would be enough to remind future you but as most beginners learn the hard way were not. Once you get into higher level stuff I recommend Chilitomatonoodle on youtube, he's got a lot of meme cancer in his videos but he actually goes in-depth on the explanations instead of just mumbling over his typing and saying "Just download my code and look at it, if it doesn't work for you sorry but it works on my machine." like so many of them do. Hell, there's a lot of stuff he doesn't actually show and expects you to be following along writing your own version but his code is available with full version control off github and his website is frequently updated so if you're really stuck there's somewhere to get help.

Not really if they want to stick to the "graphics are the issue" line of reasoning. Maybe it could be features they didn't have time to add all the new animations to everything for, but as several anons have shown several times over there's enough broken/cheap animations (fire attacks coming out of a charizard's shoulder, idle animations that just slightly bob around, Falinx on stairs, ect) in game as it is that there's no reason not to shit out the rest with enough testing to cover edge cases and call it a day with the man-power they have between their own staff and 3rd party contractors.

i've learned some very basic web stuff because of school and very little c/bash but i know i can do so much more, i just get distracted by a fly and drop things i want to learn like candy.
i'm pretty comfortable on a terminal based enviroment, so those ideas seem great. i've already done some very simple stuff in the terminal like "question expects an input and if it matches with X it gives you Y answer" so those seem like pretty natural evolutions to said projects.
also yeah, i need to get used to comment my code asap because that was a flaw of mine.
im also pretty good at researching on my own so looking for the small stuff won't be an issue

I don't know about you, but what I learned from these leaks is that all of the "futureproofed models" they made look like dogshit on Switch. Did you see how shitty that Gigantamax Reuniclus looked? How embarrassingly low quality all the other Pokemon looked compared to the LGPE-style Marowak?
They should have bit the bullet and delayed SWSH the second they realized the Pokemon models needed to be revised. But the Pokemon Company has an anime and a TGC and merch to push, so who cares if HD development takes longer? If Pokemon games don't release at the same rate that they did when they were sprite-based, some exec might make less money.
