Especially when it comes to the designs, it's just the same shit over and over again:
>Argument starts out with someone calling all of the new designs shit, or Gen 1 was the best/the Pokemon stopped being good after Gen X
>People who like the new Pokemon rush to their defense, usually by pointing out certain Gen 1 designs as also being shitty looking or uninspired.
And so on. Sometimes the defensive side instead of shitting on old Pokemon, attempt to point out some new Pokemon as being appealing in design and concept in their own right.
Point is, whether you hate or like new Pokemon designs from the modern Gens, how is it that you're not tired of this argument, especially when the same defenses and rebuttals are brought up time and time again? And it's all subjective in the end anways, so I dont think you can convince someone to hate or like a Pokemon they personally found appealing or horrible.
