So, about the Galarian Star Tournament...

All the trainers use the same pokémon from the champion cup with the same movesets (yes, Hop still uses a dubwool with double kick, headbutt, double edge and cotton guard) but their pokémon are a little higher leveled now (the strongest being Leon and Hop's Lv. 80 aces)

They didn't bother giving anyone new pokémon nor better movesets

That'll be $30

How are version exclusive trainers handled? On one hand I can understand if you can only face trainers from your version but on the other it would be a missed opportunity not to see how Melony and Gordie interact.

Remember when people hyped up the Battle Agency in USUM as Battle Factory 2.0? No one even remembers that garbage probably.
The downfall of this franchise is actually comical. The fact that some still refuse to see it and blame it on you "growing out" of the games is baffling.

Why didn't they just use the facility format? It would've been fun to farm BP by doing this. Now you just end up being overlevelled with your mon who probably had been pushed to level 100 for maxing them because GF is clever and they decided to give the bullshit limit of the bottlecaps as working only on Lv100 mons...

I hate SWSH and Galar as a region. At least SM actually leaned into its regions uniqueness and setting. Galar was like, trying to do gyms better than the other games but it actually does them worse, the only cool thing is how its sponsored and role in the story/characters. How the fuck do they let bw2 from 2012 upstage them? A game tackling so many other things beat Galar at having a cooler gym culture.
