On one hand, it looks like it was drawn with an ink pen, which could be a nice stylistic choice, but on the other hand, the official art for this franchise usually has a lot cleaner line art. Also note that the shadows below Calyrex and two of the birds are copy-pasted from the original Pokémon layer, recolored, and stretched. Those cast shadows doesn’t blend into the painterly style of the other shadows at all, which is weird because the artist did make a proper shadow for Galarian Articuno. Calyrex‘s face looks a lot better here than in any other depiction I’ve seen, I’ll give them that.
