If Skill Swap isn't good enough to make Regigigas decent in doubles, Galarian Weezing is just asking the opponent to come in with any ground or steel type with fighting coverage.

Is there a running joke here or something? This is the second thread I've seen in as many days where multiple anons were calling Galarian Weezing a shitmon, specifically in doubles. It's just under Rhyperior in usage according to Pikalytics, and that's only because it's used with specific teammates and can't just be thrown on any team because it's ability can fuck you over too if used carelessly. It's even part of Smogon's Doubles OU tier, so you can't be talking about that either. What do you get out of making these posts, do you enjoy being told you're wrong or something? You're completely and totally wrong in every regard here, there's no gray area where you're technically correct.

Because it's not like Gigas is an unstoppable monster once Slow Start Wears off, the 5 free turns you gave the opponent will have them having made something infinitely more dangerous than Gigas with its act together.

Skill Swap forces you to waste a turn and gimp your mon that isn't Regigigas, forcing it to switch out thereby wasting another turn on that slot. Weezing is actually doing smth, both with its ability (suppressing terrain abilities, Intimidate, Urshifu's Unseen Fist, etc) and in terms of being able to attack or use support moves, while Regigigas is wreaking havoc from the very start.
