>>45190382PROS:
>Good map, even better than Isle of Armor. Actually huge and not mostly sea (this was the big flaw with Armor's map)- Fun story, good characters and humor.
- Regi puzzles, however basic, are still fun.
- Rental Pokemon for Legendary Raids make them more engaging and exciting.
- Several new Pokemon, and all of them will be usable in Ranked/VGC except for Calyrex.
- Regi music and new Legendary Bird music
- Balltism fossils
CONS:
- Still has that Gamefreak cheapness, but it's charming enough to overlook
- Ultra Beasts did not get music despite getting their own section of the DLC
- Story could've used an antagonist beyond Calyrex's grumpy horse. Maybe a hard mode rematch with the Dynamax Eternatus where you aren't aided by the box legendaries? I feel that would've capped things off well enough.
- New clothes options introuduced in Tundra are very limited, I think? From what I hear it's just the villain eyewear and Peony's costume.
OTHER:
- I didn't play the Star Tournament yet so I can't comment on this yet.
Overall, I'm confident in saying Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra are the best things Gamefreak has put out since Gen 5. The ideal for future Pokemon titles based on what I've seen here is a game that features multiple large wild areas with their own individuals dexes. A game with 4-5 Crown Tundra sized areas with about 150-200 Pokemon situated within each would be excellent.
