Don't forget, the Regi shrines are in the same spots as they are in Platinum with the same shrines, the road to Calyrex's temple gives major Mt. Coronet/Snowpoint vibes, the birds were in Sinnoh, the region is laid out like Sinnoh with the eastern islands, ruins/graveyards in the middle, Spiritomb, the list goes on.

Worst case scenario, CT was their half assed attempt at a DPPt remake. Calyrex also has a triforce, the only other time that was used in Pokemon is Sinnoh with Mesprit/Azelf/Uxie and Dialga/Palkia/Giratina. And the game outright tells you the murals are referencing both trios. Notice how it's a triangle inside another triangle too... Make of that what you will be the clues are right there.

Read that post again along with the other and look at the map. It's not 1:1 but there are a lot of parallels. I'm not saying it confirms remakes, I lean towards anything like this not implying anything further than what we've already received until further evidence. But all of the other stuff still stands.
