Emerald. Main story is great (although I slightly prefer ruby/sapphire) and the post game is phenomenal

HG/SS are good and all but those originals just make me feel something I've barely felt with other games. I think it comes from really struggling and pouring my life into them coupled with them just being ridiculously great games for the time, plus I had no distractions. Everything combined just ingrained them in my memory, those feels and memories will be some of the last to leave my body when I die.

XY, HGSS, and BW2 are all about equal in replayability and enjoyment.
Platinum and vanilla BW are great but are admittedly a slog in some areas, the former are the only games that really never get old for me.

Black and White 2, Black and White, HG/SS, and Platinum. All in that order. Pokemon Red and Gold i heard dear to my because it's the first games i have ever played. LeafGreen i also hold dear to me because it's the game i got for my birthday from my mom even though i wanted FireRed.

Black again since I played and beat it for the first time a few months back and I sorta regret not playing it when it first launched.
Sun's pretty alright too aside from getting a bit cutscene heavy at times.
