Tbf, the wild areas in this DLC are the way the games should be from now on in terms of map design, except obviously much bigger. So if they build off of that foundation at least that will be an improvement in some way over SwSh base game

They saw how successful Pokemon Go has been staggering out pokedexes every few months, as well as live service games like Fortnite, which is ***exactly*** the audience they want to capture: 10-year-olds with Mommy's credit card.

Raids are already ever-changing events, bringing out seasonal DLC is the next logical step.
