Gen 5 had a few red flags for problems to come, but were still great games since their problems were only minor grievances.
Gen 6 was just flat out disappointing. The awe of 3D Pokemon was fun, but it didn't make up for the game falling off after the first two Gyms.
Gen 7 was rough. USUM was better but by that time I shilled my last shill.
LGPE was the first time where I was actually went "What the fuck is this nonsense?"
Didn't even bother buying it or Sword and Shield afterwards.
