I was not that upset at the graphics until i saw this screenshot. They just straight up said "fuck it all, we got a game to release! we got no time fo that!" to the lighting.

Do you realize what company you are dealing with? I would never expect that from GF in a million years unless they literally were allowed to use a Nintendo game engine with all that stuff already figured out

Because it is on a home console where this shit looks beyond stupid, not on a handheld gaming device where its considered ok. GameFreak knew the jump to homeconcsole was coming and they were caught with their pants around their legs.

No they didn't, Shitshihara was on record saying he thought the Switch was gonna fail somehow, this is literally a ported 3DS game as evidence by the "beta"

I refuse to believe GameFreak did not know of the direction Nintendo wanted to go with the Switch. They probably knew of the console as they were developing Sun and Moon. There were probably many miscommunications along the Nintendo / Pokemon command chain. Don't see how they could have collectively dropped the ball this hard.
