I think there might be special lighting on the pokemon, like how Spheal has a white rim light only on the top edge. This is the most unnecessary nitpicking, it has no impact on the player's experience whatsoever. These people have mental problems at this point, they would not be happy with anything Gamefreak released.

The literal OP of the tweet agrees it was likely done for a specific reason since "only one light sourced instead of multiple" is objectively easier on a graphical engine. Nobody is actualy mad at it.
