Its pretty good, it gives the game some much needed post game and it has much better level design to the original game. Most people say it's too little too late but in for a penny in for a pound, it does make an incomplete game feel complete.

If you're looking for something "cool" and "new", you won't find it in the DLCs. They're mainly just new places to explore and Pokemon to catch, and their plots aren't much more than that. The total story content of both DLCs can be completed in just a day or two depending on how fast you care to go about it, so unless that's enough to scratch your itch they probably aren't worth it for you.

Its actually pretty enjoyable. I liked IoA better than CT but both introduced about the same amount of content. Base SWSH without DLC is USUM levels of bad, with DLC its about 7/10 I’d say.

You get both when you buy the DLC, there isn't a way to only buy one. I assume anon meant just don't play the IoA.

desu if you ignore /vp for a few days while playing it's fucking amazing. yes it's not perfect but once you removes all the negativity from your gameplay experience it's so much better

OP if you only want a new Pokemon game and then old games you haven't played won't cut it. Just play fan games. But you should really just leave your comfort zone and at least play Disc Creatures or something.

I think it's great. /vp/ is not a good place to ask anymore, unfortunatly. Unless someone can give you a detailed response about pros and cons then I think you should discard what they're saying. Even then, I'm not sure you can put any weight in it. I've seen total fucking lies on here for the past week being presented as detailed facts.
