As a dragon trainer I am obligated to say Regidrago.
Competitively it's a wash, better stat block but no moves on Regieleki.
Regileki is a better Pokemon though.

He's not really saying that as so much as the energy will run out in the far future and instead of having it actually run out, they should do something about it now so it never runs out. I presume he's hedging on the assumption Leon is the only one capable of taking on Eternatus and if he's gone, there would be no one that can take Eternatus and the power will definitely run out.

I thought it had Drain Punch since gen 4? imo the only way to get Regigigas to have it's own niche is to bump up it's stats enough to justify having slow start, like pouring an extra 30 points in HP to give it an even BST of 700
