The DLC was good as an expansion of the original game that I was already on board with, this just enhanced it. Most people do not in fact say the game sucked ass.

Gamefreak works in two teams for pokemon. There is a main team for the main games only and another team for the mid-gen games. The current main team is working on gen 9 while the dlc is handled by the mid-gen team. They are done by different people.

Actually, it just proves their M.O. works. The people driving the sales don't give a fuck for your complaints, so neither do the devs. And as the main driving force is kids and they eat up shit (see the retards running around thinking anything TPC produced was ever anything but an excuse to get game sales for themselves, while GF hoovered up the handheld sales)
