All this bitching about brown and black characters just shows what happens when someone grows up in a bubble. Growing up in a homogeneous place isn't a bad thing; but if you freak out over other races being represented because you've convinced yourself that a certain race should be the "default", or set arbitrary limits on how diverse something should be, then you're the one with the problem. Just because you don't like minorities or you don't see them in your everyday life doesn't mean they don't exist.
