How the fuck do I catch these niggers. Especially Articuno?

Also, Crown Tundra thread. What are you doing, have you finished the DLC, what new stuff have you caught. Help questions. All that jazz.

Zapdos will eventually run out of gas and let you catch up. Moltres you have to cut off, you might as well reload the area if he gets away form you. Articuno raises a wing on the real one before splitting into three, you run into that one when it reaches the ground

I caught Zapdos. I figured since it can't fly, it'd be the easiest. But I literally have run into Articuno once and can't get it to reappear. I'll hear it cry when I fast travel, then I'll hear it again, like it's nearby. OCCASIONALLY I'll see it's shadow, but when I go to where it roosts, nothing's there. I zoom out to see it, to keep track of it, and it's just not there.

Tried to finish the quests but the game doesn't let you catch Calyrex before beating Leon's ass. So that's dumb.
Started a second account to aim for the other legendaries but forgot the greedy cunts at nintendo don't let you use the internet with more than one account unless you pay extra. So that's dumb.

There's a couple spots where it roosts. the ones I know of are the old cemetary, the cliff above regice, and just outside of town near the inn exit. Check those spots.

To catch Moltres keep flying to the station entrance on the Isle of armor until you see it fly to the ocean, ignore it stand here. Moltres will eventually come here and it will see you and attack.

As for Articuno, I kept re-flying to the snowbank area until it flew over my head and followed it to that clifside the bird that raises a wing is the real one it will disappear and reappear to start the fight.

From then on out it's on you.Bring Fug with you for Articuno if it's hailing

I was just fucking around catching the legends last night without dedicated Pokemon so I had Regice, just tanked and healed with him until I caught it.

Be careful not to run into them in sandstorm or hail unless you can reset the weather. Stare hard at articuno and you'll be able to follow which one is the real one, then just walk into that one being careful not to accidentally touch one of the fakes. Moltres does a set route so just wait somewhere where you know it will fly right overhead. Zapdos is fast but it travels the long way around obstacles, so you can scoot around the inside then to catch up.
