>mary sueI don't think you know what this term means. The little guy has had to battle using Raboot as a hunting dog for most of the captures. This was shown early into the series not to mention that before he used to do that he'd spend so many Pokeballs just to catch on Pokemon like Seal. He lost Zapdos and had Raboot/Flygon get downed. Aerodactyl pretty much took out Raboot and even had he lost given it was his Pokemon Amber someone would have gotten it under control and given it to him.
He's a self insert that you hate cause Old Good, New Bad or because it's not a Waifu like Dawn, Serena or Iris.
