What do you think about the cut scene of Oleana? Would you think TPC and game freak are working in a third Dlc?

It might end up as one of the things never explained like what ever happened from Hilda or Hilbert in BW2. They just disappeared, never to be heard from again. Or they might have Rose cameo in the next game.

I think the opposite, that they have put that scene makes me think that they are introducing us to something. Maybe add something that reveals the story of Rose and Peony and that explains why such a strange relationship.

I have issue with this just because Rose is no Giovanni. Rose seemed normal if a bit impatient and eccentric, but suddenly does something that could destroy the entire region he wanted to prosper for an issue 1,000 years away. Rose's lack of development and terrible motive would make any inclusion of him as a main plot point in the next game a huge negative for me.

Of all the characters that could show up in the next entry from SwSh, Rose is by far the worst choice. His entire plan has been constantly brought up as what many people thought was the worst part of the story. If GF wanted Roes to be a recurring character, then they should've actually developed his plans more and let the player investigate him instead of just leaving it all to Leon and Sonia.

The setup for gen 2 is that Giovanni is still MIA though, and Rose being MIA is something that could be used to frame the next gen games
