I think I played through Round 2 Challenge Cup about a year ago or so. It is bullshit but I feel like it gets easier with the higher tiers. The only thing I haven't beaten yet in all honesty is Little Cup R2 and the Gym Leader castle.

I beat Gym Leader Castle, but I remember the Cups in the Stadium being complete bullshit without some good ingame mons. I cannot imagine beating this with rentals only.

I just barely beat little cup round 2 the other day. I used abra with psychic/tpunch/thief/icepunch, voltorb with tbolt/explosion/thunder wave and staryu with psychic/ice beam/thunder wave. Voltorb really comes in handy for the final battle, exploded that faggit scyther right away

That's precisely why challenge cup is so annoying, all of the rentals they give you are complete ass and I swear the AI straight up cheats. Every move without 100 acc misses, I hurt myself in confusion but they don't, paralysis never works, I get trapped in attraction hell. Fuck.
