>Best Case
-- A new set of games that actually puts in SOME effort on story and challenge (I know, it's an impossibility at this point). My desire would be some good DP remakes with a more open Sinnoh.
-- Route structure can still be "linear" in terms of not being "open world" so players still follow a concrete line of story progression to some degree.
-- Mt. Coronet, Amity Park, Great Marsh are all open world areas.
-- Battle Area also fully open world WITH a Battle Frontier fully redesigned. NOT a battle tower/mansion only bit.
-- Sinnoh regional forms for some Pokemon that were NOT originally in DPPt (Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar mons, etc.) but with MORE FIRE TYPES PLEASE
-- If they want the Dynamax feature still around, fine. G-Max Luxray, Garchomp, Lucario, would be neat. Giving Dialga and Palkia G-Max forms is also a fine idea imo.
-- Contests making an upgraded return.
-- Keep in mythical event encounters and locations to stay true to original.
>The realistic case
-- Lackluster DP remakes with no Battle Area, no Megas, cut dex, and no post-game outside of a $30 DLC for the Battle Area. No Battle Frontier.
>Worst Case
-- SWSH 2 in the same region. No real changes.
-- just another DLC pack that we'll play for one day, forget about, and move on with.
