>>45265370>>45265408I've never tried that specific setup, but I have done 3 Rare Candies with anything else (usually berries) and it always spits out the Ability Capsule, which is what Serebii says should happen.
Only thing I can think of that may explain it your way is if you're doing Wishing Piece, then 3 Rare Candies every time which I guess results in it just assuming the "Poison" table and bypassing the Ability Capsule recipe (which I guess requires you start with Rare Candy).
In that case, Rare Candies are 40 points each and the Wishing Piece is 28, which puts you at 148, within the Bottlecap range.
I can see why that recipe would become the most common one since Rare Candies are the only thing you can get en-mass that's worth 40 points to reach that 141-150 range. At that point though, starting with ANYTHING with a value of 21-30 would get you the Bottle Cap.
Starting with a Balm Mushroom (24) or an Armorite Ore (28) for instance then 3 Rare Candies would also work in that case.
